Love to Move Course Dates
We know that Love to Move can make a huge positive difference to the lives of people living with dementia.
That is why we’d like to train as many people as possible to deliver Love to Move. If you are passionate about making a difference and are interested in training to deliver Love to Move, please see the list of upcoming course details below. We look forward to hearing from you!
Our online courses are broken up into 4 modules of 3.5 hours each. To take part in the online course, you need to have a computer or lap-top with a camera and microphone as it is interactive, and tutor led. For the practical elements of the course, you will need to be able to sit far enough away from the camera for the tutor and other learners to see your head and your feet in a seated position.
The cost of the course is £350 per learner. This includes the tutor led modules, pre-course e-learning, the Love to Move music, Resource book and Workbook, online mentoring post-course, and your assessment. Once you have passed your final assessment you will be eligible to apply for your Love to Move Deliverers Licence.
We run a Licence scheme for Love to Move deliverers so that we can keep in touch and continually support you wherever you may be in the country. The annual cost of the licence is £45 per person. As part of the Licence we check that everyone has an Adult at risk DBS and adequate public liability insurance. We provide unlimited CPD for licence holders and you will have access to all resources as we develop them such as: additional playlists; support with grief & bereavement; advice on working with people with advanced dementia; support with working with people living with Parkinson’s and many more CPD workshops. You will also receive a newsletter 4 times per year and be invited to Networking session where you can meet other deliverers and share ideas.
